Welcome to the Warwick Town Centre Plan website - part of an extensive public consultation to find out how you want your town to develop.
The Town Centre Plan is an exciting project that will stimulate and guide the development of Warwick town centre over a period of 15 years.
What stage are we at?
The first stage of the process was to identify the issues that need to be addressed within the Town Centre. The Partnership therefore held an exhibition in March 2010 in the town to raise awareness of the plan and consult the public on the key issues that face the town centre both now and in the future.
This consultation ended on 30th April 2010 - Please click here to view the results.
The next stage of the process is to consider what the ‘vision’ for the town will be and how the issues identified can be addressed. The Partnership are currently working on this and the outcome will be set out in an ‘options’ and preferred option paper which will be published in the autumn of 2012, when it will also be subject to a period of public consultation.
The plan will be subject to Sustainability Appraisal and the Scoping Report for this is currently out to consultation. It can be viewed under the section on Background Information. Any comments should be sent by Friday 15 June 2012, to David Barber, Warwick District Council, Riverside House, Milverton Hill, Leamington Spa, CV32 5QH.
